In 2007 Bryan G Hall Limited were instructed by CEG to advise on the transportation issues in relation to proposals to develop the old Vesuvius Works, located off Sandy Lane, Worksop, Nottinghamshire.

The clients initial aim was to obtain outline approval with access to the site. Permission to build a 50m ICD roundabout was granted in 2008 and renewed in both 2013 and 2017.

Bryan G Hall were also employed by CEG to undertake the detailed design of the roundabout and on site infrastructure to serve a new food store, non food retail and industrial units.

Phase 1 of the works to build a new ASDA and the first section of the access road started on site in June 2018. Bryan G Hall have been retained as client’s agent to ensure compliance by the Principal Contractor to the approved drawings and are current undergoing regular inspections and providing update to CEG on a weekly basis.
