James has gained over 22 years’ experience. Formally employed by WSP, he has now worked at Bryan G Hall for over 20 years. James joined the Practice as a junior technician, and gained his academic qualifications through part-time study. Although specialising in highway engineering this approach enabled him to gain technical, practical and theoretical experience in all aspects of civil engineering. James gained professional qualification in November 2012.

James heads up the detailed design section of the practice, undertaking preliminary and detailed highway road and sewer design using the latest AutoCAD, Windes, CAD Civils and PDS software. He also works in conjunction with the Transport Planning teams to provide design support.

Interests include socialising, gym and supporting Wakefield Trinity. Come on the Trin!!
